Veterinary control

The live animals and products of animal origin is a subject of specific controls at their point of entry, so called veterinary border inspection ports (BIPs).

 

 

List (“Positive list”) of live animals and animal origin products to be subject to  controls at border inspection posts  Decision 2007/275/EU.

 

A consignment of live animals or product of animal origin can only enter into the EU, if it has satisfactorily undergone the specific checks and a Common Veterinary Entry Document (CVED) is issued.

 

 

The economic operators involved in food chain (including the movement of food across the state border, transport, storage etc.)   should be registered in the Food and veterinary service in accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers Regulations Nr.104 of 2 February 2010.  

 

Customs warehouses and warehouses in free zones must be approved by the Food and veterinary service in accordance with the Directive 97/78/EC Art. 12.
